BLESS

BLESS YOUR BLOCK

ONE FAMILY. TEN THOUSAND HOMES.

“As the Father has sent me, even so I am sending you.”
Jesus, John 20:21

Our vision is to be a neighborhood church where everyone within a three mile radius of our church knows they are welcomed and wanted at Wingfoot Church.

The Bless1 Challenge

This year, ask God to lead you to B.L.E.S.S. one person, family, or friend who doesn’t yet know Jesus. Sharing Jesus with our friends and neighbors doesn’t have to be complicated.

It’s as simple as Bless:

B: Be prayerfully present

L: Listen to their story, interests, etc.

E: Eat, share a meal, get coffee, etc.

S: Serve by meeting a tangible need

S: Share an invite to church or your Jesus story with them

Write the name of the person or family on the Bless1 Card and keep it where you’ll remember to pray for and take intentional steps toward them. As you go, use the space on the card to keep notes, mark milestones, and prayerfully walk the next step with someone in their journey with Jesus.

Ten Thousand Homes Project

We want to personally invite each of the 10,000 homes in Goodyear Heights to join the family of Jesus. Through prayer walking, block parties, and personal initiatives, we’re going to meet everyone in the neighborhood right where they are. Watch our events calendar for ways to engage in the Ten Thousand Homes Project.

Remember, the goal is to bless someone so that they can experience and discover the love of Jesus in their own lives. So as great as it is to bless your church community, our mission is to bless those who don’t yet know Jesus!
